Nuno Man de Sá was sentenced to two years and three months in prison, with suspended sentence, for domestic violence against former girlfriend Nadia Lopes. The Viseu Court considered it proven that the actor caused him psychological suffering through control and humiliation behaviors. This is the second conviction for domestic violence of Man de Sá, after the decision known in June in the case of Frederica Lima.
The Viseu court also gave as proof that Nadia Lopes reduced the calls to family and friends, just calling them to ask for money, and that she avoided leaving the house for fearing the way the actor would react.
The actor was forbidden to contact the victim, to approach his residence and place of work.
In addition to the sentence of two years and three months, the actor was sentenced to pay compensation of 1750 euros. In June, the Tribunal de Torres Vedras sentenced him to a three-year sentence relating to another case.
The actor was forbidden to contact the victim, to approach his residence and place of work.
It was considered proven that Nadia Lopes was the target of several insults, prevented from taking medication and forced to take cold water to save gas, and the actor's conduct aggravated his anxiety symptoms.
