Mozambique: Government's Agricultural Plan Budgeted At Two Billion Us Dollars
Maputo -- The Mozambican government's agricultural plan is budgeted at two billion US dollars, said the Minister of Planning and Development, Salim Valá, speaking to reporters during his working visit to areas hit by floods in the southern province of Gaza.
Mozambique is preparing an agricultural investment, mobilizing funds to support millions of producers and modernise irrigation, seeds, mechanisation and systems that strengthen national productivity.
The government of Mozambique intends to make "massive" investments to increase agricultural productivity, mobilizing about two billion dollars (1.4 billion euros) over the next four years, the Minister of Planning and Development announced today.
