Mizzou Unveils 'the Sickest' Throwback Football Uniforms
The uniforms feature vintage logos and old-shade gold pants as Missouri marks Memorial Stadium’s 100th anniversary.
Mizzou announced Thursday that the Tigers will wear throwback uniforms for the 100th Anniversary Game against Troy on Sept. 19, celebrating the centennial of Memorial Stadium.
Crafted to honor Mizzou Football history, the uniforms capture vintage snapshots from several defining eras, with each element selected to create a "classic, cohesive look" for the Centennial celebration.
The uniform features a black helmet with a white Block M and a bumper displaying the six Ionic-style Columns of the Francis Quadrangle, alongside black tops with a simple "M" and historic gold pants.
Former Mizzou quarterback Chase Daniel praised the jerseys as "the sickest throwbacks," and merchandise inspired by the design is now on sale online and at the new Tiger Team Store.
Kickoff for the 100th Anniversary Game against the Trojans is set for 11:45 a.m. on Sept. 19, with television coverage on SEC Network+ for the Tigers' third game of the season.
