Minister Gürlek Announced: The Suspect in 3 Murders and 6 Injuries Turned Out to Be the Same Person.
As a result of investigations coordinated by the Department for Investigating Unsolved Crimes, 36 previously unsolved cases have been fully clarified. The perpetrators of three murders committed in Ankara in 2015 and the double murder in Osmaniye in 2019 were identified and arrested.
The unsolved case of Mustafa Ala and Hüsna Ala, a couple murdered in their home in Düziçi district of Osmaniye in 2019, has been reopened after 7 years. Following a re-examination of HTS and base station records, License Plate Recognition System data, a missing promissory note, and witness statements, Yusuf Küçük was taken into custody and arrested.
Justice Minister Akın Gürlek announced that the suspect in the 2019 murder of the Ala couple in Osmaniye has been apprehended and sent to prison. Gürlek also stated that the perpetrator of three murders and six attempted murders committed using the same method in Ankara is currently in prison for other crimes.
The murder suspect, whose name is linked to four murders in different cities, has been found to be in prison. Akın Gürlek shared the information on his social media account.
Minister Gürlek announced that the series of murders in Ankara and the murder of a married couple in Osmaniye were solved through the efforts of the Unsolved Crimes Investigation Department, and that the suspects were arrested.
Medeni Öztaş, who is in prison for a brutal murder he committed in Antalya, has been identified as a suspect in three murders and six attempted murders in Ankara. The suspect in the double murder in Osmaniye has also been arrested.
