Miley Cyrus Releases New Single 'Bass Persuades' and Music Video
The 10-track album arrives Sept. 18 via Atlantic Records, and Miley will support it with two Hollywood Bowl shows in Los Angeles.
- On Thursday, Sept. 3, Miley Cyrus released the single and music video for 'Bass Persuades,' the title track from her upcoming 10th album arriving September 18 via Atlantic Records.
- For the 10-track collection, Cyrus adopted a mononymous stage name while shifting to dance-pop with '80s synths, marking her first major project since 2025's Something Beautiful.
- Earlier this week, Cyrus wrote about the album's meaning on social media: 'Music takes hold of us. We feel it, sing it, sometimes dance to it, let it out and carry on. It is powerful, vulnerable, sweet and strong.'
- In celebration of the project, Cyrus will perform two headlining shows at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles on October 16 and 18, with general tickets going on sale September 10.
- While 'Bass Persuades' is the lead single, it is technically her second 2026 song, following 'Younger You' for the Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special. Her career includes the hit 'Flowers,' which matched her voice to country alt-pop.
