Manipur resettles 36,000 of 60,000 displaced people
Manipur's Chief Minister reported 36,000 internally displaced persons have been resettled. Twenty-four thousand displaced individuals still reside in various relief camps across the state. The government continues providing financial aid to nearly all displaced persons. Mental trauma support and livelihood initiatives are also being explored by the government. Restoring trust and economic activities remains a key focus for the administration.
