Manhasset school board approves pilot plan to improve bus and parent traffic

The Manhasset Schools Board of Education approved a pilot for a secondary school bus traffic route change at its meeting on Tuesday, Aug. 18.  The pilot plan will first be implemented on Tuesday, Sep. 29 and will stagger the bus drop-off/pick-up times with parent drop-off/pick-up.  “There’s no more intermingling of parents and buses,” Manhasset Superintendent Christopher Pellettieri said.  The route change, which was drafted by the transportatio…
