A Mississauga driver was stopped by Ontario Provincial Police on Highway 69 south of Sudbury on Aug. 9 after officers clocked the vehicle at 175 km/h in a posted 110 km/h zone.

Man Clocked Driving 70 km/h Over Speed Limit Near Milltown

A man is without his licence after the RCMP clocked him at nearly 70 km/h over the posted limit on the Bay d’Espoir Highway. The 23-year-old man was pulled over near Milltown last Friday just before 4:30 p.m. The speed radar registered the vehicle at 148 km/h in an 80 km/h zone. The driver was ticketed for excessive speeding and his vehicle was impounded.
