A girl cycled into a sinkhole in ’s-Heerenberg, Gelderland, on Wednesday afternoon. She disappeared largely underwater and managed to climb out with difficulty. The hole was caused by a broken water pipe. The sidewalk and street were cordoned off by the municipality following the fall.

A girl nearly disappeared completely underwater in ’s-Heerenberg on Wednesday afternoon when she rode her bicycle into a sinkhole. Footage from a bystander shows her initially stopping in front of the large puddle on the street, but then cycling on.
