Lisa Lane filed to run for the mayor’s seat on August 6, 2026. (KCAW/McKenney) Three candidates are in the running for Sitka mayor this October. Lisa Lane filed to run for the assembly’s top job last week (8-6-26). Lane moved to Sitka nearly 40 years ago, and is now semi-retired. She currently works part-time greeting guests and offering information at the cruise ship terminal, and volunteers cutting hair for residents at the Pioneer Home.  KCAW…
