As of 2027, recurring invoices can be settled more easily with Twint. The payment platform launches the new direct debit offer. Twint is not the first company to present a possible successor solution to the soon to be discontinued direct debit procedure.

Next year, the Twint payment app launches a digital direct debit procedure. Customers set up mandates via QR code, payments run automatically – without paperwork. Twint thus competes with the eBill system.
