Labour polling at highest level since last year, as Reform slip
Prime Minister Andy Burnham's Labour Party leads Reform at 30 per cent versus 25 per cent in recent YouGov and Opinium polls, reaching its highest popularity since the 2024 landslide election victory.
Following a well-received conference speech, Burnham pledged to boost collaboration with European partners, lamenting British industries "harmed by Brexit" while winning back former voters.
Support among 18- to 24-year-olds surged from 14 per cent to 27 per cent, while backing from former Labour voters increased from 49 per cent to 63 per cent.
Reform UK trails at 22 per cent amid financial controversies, while Nigel Farage faces competition from Rupert Lowe's Restore Britain, stalling the party's momentum.
Pollsters warn the so-called "Burnham bounce" may have peaked as the Greens and Lib Dems slip, while Burnham dismisses calls for early elections.
