The former NJPW star debuted as Shinsuke Nakamura’s partner and beat Kit Wilson in a dark match before Monday’s Raw taping.
- On Friday's episode of "WWE SmackDown," Hiromu Takahashi debuted as Kyoki, revealed as Shinsuke Nakamura's new tag team partner and stepping into a WWE ring for the first time.
- Ahead of Monday's WWE RAW and SmackDown double taping in Ottawa, Kyoki competed against Kit Wilson in a bout Tom Sherwood noted may have been filmed for "Main Event" or served as a dark match.
- Known as "The Ticking Time Bomb," the former IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion held the GHC Junior Heavyweight Championship in NOAH before departing NJPW last February as a member of Los Igobernables.
- Nakamura has been feuding with MFT, consisting of Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa, stating that he and his new partner are coming for the group's championship gold.
