Keiko Kishi, one of Japan's leading internationally acclaimed actresses and also a successful essayist, died on the 7th at her home in Yokohama City due to old age. She was 93 years old. Born in Yokohama City, the funeral was held privately with close relatives. Her eldest daughter, Maiko, served as the chief mourner. She joined Shochiku and made her film debut in 1951.
