The one-night-only set included 19 Ramones songs and surprise appearances by The Linda Lindas, Fred Armisen and Billy Idol.
On Sunday, August 30, 2026, the supergroup Cretin Family made its live debut at the Official Ramones 50th Anniversary Tribute held at Hollywood Forever Cemetery in Los Angeles.
The ensemble featured Green Day singer Billie Joe Armstrong, Rancid frontman Tim Armstrong, Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker, and former Ramones bassist CJ Ramone, formed specially to celebrate 50 years since the 1976 Ramones debut album.
Surprise appearances defined the evening, with comedian Fred Armisen joining for "Danny Says" and The Linda Lindas performing "I Wanna Be Sedated" alongside the main band.
Actor John Travolta hosted the event and introduced the band with dad jokes, while Billy Idol closed the show performing "Beat on the Brat" and "Ready Steady Go."
Armstrong told the crowd it was the "first time in my entire life" he performed with Barker, underscoring the historic nature of a collaboration honoring the 1976 album that ignited the punk revolution.
The actor hosted The Official Ramones 50th Anniversary Tribute, a meeting held at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery to commemorate five decades of the legacy of the historic punk band.
