- Arriving in Moscow on Sunday for a two-day visit, Jaishankar held talks with Russian First Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov on expanding India-Russia economic cooperation and bilateral trade.
- Addressing economic ties, Jaishankar noted, "Overall, I think our economic cooperation has grown very significantly", highlighting sectors including trade, energy, fertilizers, and nuclear cooperation.
- He further stated that "Prime Minister Modi looks forward to meeting you at the SCO Summit", then welcoming Putin to India for the BRICS Summit and annual bilateral talks.
