Constitutional reform in security entered on Monday by the Executive to Congress, contemplates that this new tool can extend up to 240 days without the approval of Congress.
The “State of Public Security” of the reform is similar to the State of Assembly: it empowers the Executive to suspend or restrict personal, assembly and locomotion freedoms; to limit association, order requisitions and intercept private telecommunications without prior court order.
