Issue notices to KCR, kin over alleged land record irregularities: Revanth Reddy
On Wednesday, Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy directed officials to issue a survey notification for 45 acres of unaccounted land in Erravalli and Venkatapuram villages, following allegations of "land grabbing" against BRS chief Chandrashekhar Rao.
Revenue records indicated 388 acres in Erravalli, while a recent survey established only 343 acres available, requiring officials to trace the 45-acre difference between the two assessments.
Chief Secretary Sanjay Jaju and CMO Principal Secretary Seshadri attended a meeting on land irregularities where officials planned notices for Rao and his family members to obtain land records near the surveyed area.
Reddy ordered that identified land be distributed among eligible local farmers, while directing the Housing Department to complete the "Telangana Martyrs' Colony" by June 2 next year.
At Velikatta in Kondapak, the Chief Minister proposed setting up an education hub, including a Young India Integrated School, on land not earmarked for Mission Bhagiratha.
