Dutch restaurants and cafés see little growth as consumers cut spending
The Dutch hospitality industry is expected to see almost no growth this year as consumers cut back on spending at restaurants and cafés. Meanwhile, prices in the sector are set to rise by an average of 5 percent in 2026, driven by inflation and a higher VAT rate on accommodation introduced earlier this year.
