Only one bid was submitted in the tender for the construction of the Outer Port in Gdynia. It came from Terminal Investment Limited Gdynia, a company owned by the Italian-Swiss shipping company MSC, Wirtualna Polska reports. However, the controversial Hutchison Ports did not submit a bid, alleviating concerns about Beijing's growing influence over strategic Baltic infrastructure.
It is planned to create an external port on the artificially formed territory of a new pier, which will go to the sea. The post In the port of Gdynia, only one company submitted an application for the construction of a new container terminal appeared first on Ukrainian Shipping Magazine — Shipping News of Ukraine and the World.
