The IMF director said the global economy is resisting "strong winds against" resulting from the war in Iran.

The world economy has done better than anticipates the energy shock caused by the war with Iran and the closure of the Ormuz Straits, but the rise in debt, persistent inflation and the deterioration of the fiscal situation in some states remain major risks, said the Director General of the IMF.
