- Several foreign nationals on expired student visas allegedly worked as hospital intermediaries, collecting fees and commissions of approximately 15 per cent of hospital bills; officials also seized 250 grams of ganja and Alprazolam tablets during verification.
- Authorities have lodged the remaining 37 individuals in designated holding centres while deportation proceedings continue; police advised all landlords and accommodation providers to verify passports and visas, mandating submission of Form III/C for guests.
- Foreign nationals possessing valid passports and visas are welcome to remain in India, provided they comply with all legal conditions; officials emphasized that accommodation providers must treat reporting requirements as mandatory legal and public-safety responsibilities.
