Honolulu police arrested a 52-year-old for attempted murder on suspicion of stabbing a man early Sunday morning in Waimanalo.

On August 9, 2026, at approximately 2:00 a.m., a 58-year-old man was stabbed multiple times during an altercation on Kalaniana‘ole Highway. On Tuesday, August 11, District 4 Crime Reduction Unit officers located the 52-year-old suspect in Kaimukī and arrested him for Attempted Murder in the Second Degree.
