The National Elections Jury (JNE) reminded the citizenry that a scale of fines is in force for not voting on Sunday, October 4, or for not installing the voting table (in the case of table members), in the framework of the Regional and Municipal Elections 2026.

The JNE established different economic sanctions for those who fail to comply with their electoral duties on Sunday, October 4. Lima voters who do not suffer will have to pay S/110, while absent table members will face a greater penalty.
