A large nest of the Asian hornet has been dealt with on the church tower of Zwartberg in Genk. The nest hangs at a height of about 35 to 38 meters and is approximately 40 centimeters in size. The fire department assisted with a ladder truck to reach the nest. The nest was sprayed with a type of poison and will be removed from the inside of the church tower later this week.
