Typhoon Saudel regenerates as tropical storm over South China Sea
Typhoon Saudel, the 18th named storm of this year, has regenerated into a tropical storm after being officially discontinued. Its center was located over the northeastern South China Sea, about 190 kilometers southeast of Shanwei, Guangdong Province,
Tropical Storm Saudel has just experienced a rare “revival”, accompanied by the possibility of changing course over the South China Sea and moving towards the Zhoujiang Delta (China).
[Cable News] Standby Signal No. 1 remains in effect and will remain in effect for the remainder of today. The Observatory predicts that Tropical Storm Saudel will return to the Pearl River Estuary and approach the area from Friday to Saturday.
