Submitted by Haddam Land Trust (September 22, 2026) — With the forecast of a Nor’easter storm for this weekend, the Haddam Land Trust has postponed the Connecticut River Paddle event scheduled for September 26, 2026 to October 3, 2026. Canoes and kayaks are welcome. We will leave the boat launch at Haddam Meadows State Park at 5:30 p.m. The paddle is about two miles with a break for a campfire party in the middle.
