In recent weeks, there have been several seizures in the Algarve of tankers, by the GNR and the Maritime Police, associated with drug trafficking by sea.
This type of collection is supposed to be carried out for subsequent use in the supply on the high seas of vessels engaged in drug trafficking or in favour of irregular migration.

The GNR detained on Sunday six people and seized 167 Jerricãs with more than 4,000 liters of fuel in the vicinity of the beach of Castelo, in the council of Albufeira, today informed the security force.
