According to the Public Prosecution Service (OM), the complaint filed by Utrecht city council member Yvonne Hessel regarding the disruption of a council meeting by Extinction Rebellion activists and pro-Palestinian demonstrators cannot be found. The police, however, state that the file was sent to the OM on January 26. After approximately a year, however, there has still been no trial, reports GeenStijl.
Bassiehof wrote two weeks ago that the XR/Pallie stormers of Utrecht City Hall have still not been prosecuted after a year. Utrecht council member Yvonne Hessel (Utrecht Solidair) also read that column and got in touch. She tells Bassiehof that she, just like Mayor Sharon Dijksma, also filed a report at the time.
