El Govern de Salvador Illa will award this Tuesday the Gold Medal of the Generalitat de Catalunya to chef Ferran Adrià and to the Ph.D. Caterina Biscari, until now director of the ALBA Synchrotron, for her professional career and her "portation to the country".
This is the highest distinction granted by the government and will be awarded at a ceremony on September 8.
