Alonso Mujica’s documentary work has permeated the smell of the jungle. It is “Shiringa”, a photographic record made with Peruvian designer Mozhdeh Matin, who since 2016 collaborates with Jorge Escompani and his family in the community of Iberia, in the Peruvian Amazon, exploring the potential of shiringa — natural latex — as regenerative material for fashion and contemporary design.
