Estevan woman celebrates 100th birthday
Family and friends celebrated Hannah Fichter’s milestone birthday, and she received a Toronto Blue Jays jersey for her longtime fandom.
ESTEVAN — Aug. 10 was a special day for an Estevan woman. Hannah Fichter celebrated her 100th birthday at her home at Hill View Manor, with family and friends dropping by to help her mark the occasion. Her daughter Susan Fichter noted that Hannah lived most of her life on a farm 25 kilometres northeast of Estevan. Eventually, she moved to a house in Estevan then then to a condo.
