According to EODY data, 26 new cases of West Nile virus were reported in Greece between September 18-24. From the beginning of 2026 until September 24, the number of cases reached 396, and the number of deaths due to the virus increased by 3 in one week to 36; the deceased were in the 61-92 age range.
