Energy unions have announced the suspension of their call to tighten the strike after having obtained the sine die postponement of the reform of their preferential tariff Energy unions (CGT, CFE)
The energy unions are celebrating their "victory" against the government, which announced this Monday that the agent tariff, the preferential price on electricity and gas reserved for employees in the energy sector, would eventually not change.
"In 2027 the government will not retain any changes affecting the payroll of active agents in the electricity and gas industries and the financial resources of retired agents, both from a fiscal and a social point of view," according to a letter addressed to the unions.
Trade union organisations in the sector believe that they have "reduced the government" on their proposed reform of their preferential energy tariff.
