dtcpay closes $25M Series A with SBI investment
The round began with a $10 million tranche and added SBI Group, while dtcpay expands regulated stablecoin payments across global markets.
On Friday, September 18, 2026, Singapore-headquartered payment firm dtcpay announced completion of its $25 million Series A funding round, securing a strategic investment from Japan's SBI Group.
The capital injection extends a funding round that began earlier in 2026 with a $10 million tranche led by Vertex Ventures Southeast Asia & India, supporting dtcpay's regulatory-first stablecoin infrastructure.
Existing backers Genedant Capital and Kwee Liong Tek maintained their positions, while SBI Group joins to leverage its blockchain settlement expertise across Southeast Asia.
The $25 million injection will fund an enterprise portal, enhanced application features, and merchant expansion, with Alice Liu, founder and CEO of dtcpay, stating the goal to "fundamentally change how money moves across borders."
Through the remainder of 2026, dtcpay plans to strengthen its infrastructure while maintaining its Visa partnership, enabling stablecoin-to-fiat spending at more than 150 million merchant locations worldwide.
SBI Holdings announced on September 18th that it has invested in DTCpay, a Singapore-based digital payment service provider, to support the expansion of its merchant network and enhancement of its services. This investment will support DTCpay's expansion of its merchant network and service enhancements.
