KRW1 Stablecoin is moving toward payments after BDACS partnered with Rain to connect the won-backed asset to Visa’s network. The initiative could let users spend KRW1 across more than 175 million Visa merchant locations.
The KRW1 stablecoin, backed by Won Reserves and deployed on Avalanche, will be integrated into Rain’s payment network to allow wons to be spent on more than 175 million Visa businesses. The alliance expands the international reach of the Korean currency while Avalanche adds new institutional projects, although AVAX remains under market pressure.
