Council hears from pro-life organization
The Hallettsville city council discussed declaring an ordinance for the city of Hallettsville being a Sanctuary City for the Unborn at the Sept. 21 meeting. A Sanctuary City for the Unborn is a municipality that passes a local ordinance to ban abortion and restrict related activities within its jurisdiction. The “Rise Up for Life” group, an anti-abortion organization, was in attendance to discuss this agenda item.
