Colorado State Patrol to conduct chain law enforcement on I-70 this week

The Colorado State Patrol will enforce chain law on I-70 to ensure commercial vehicles carry chains or approved traction devices from Sept. 1 to May 31, with fines up to $500.

The Colorado State Patrol will be conducting chain law enforcement operations on Wednesday along Interstate 70. The commercial vehicle chain law enforcement operation is planned on I-70 near Dotsero, according to a news release.
