Colorado to Get $615M From Meta Child Safety Settlement

Meta will add daily time limits, overnight blocks and muted notifications for users under 18 as Colorado says the deal protects children online.

As part of a sweeping multistate agreement, Meta Platforms, Inc. — the parent company of Facebook and Instagram—has agreed to pay more than $17 billion and adopt extensive child-safety reforms.
