Christian Darrisaw said he has ‘definitely come a long way’ since a 2024 knee surgery
Darrisaw said he feels the best he has in two years after a left-knee injury that cost him multiple games and an injured reserve stint.
Vikings tackle Darrisaw reported feeling "the best I've felt in two years" while training at TCO Performance Center, marking significant progress in his recovery from a severe left knee injury.
During a game against the Los Angeles Rams, Darrisaw tore multiple ligaments in his left knee, forcing him onto injured reserve on Dec. 19, 2025, after sitting out multiple games last season.
"It definitely came across my mind," Darrisaw said regarding doubts during recovery, noting his body "wasn't responding the way I wanted it to" once he returned to the field.
The Vikings confirmed Darrisaw received a scheduled rest day during training camp, with the team preparing for pads to go on Monday after a weekend recovery period.
Darrisaw's focus remains on staying healthy and dominating for the Vikings as training camp continues. "Just stay healthy and go out there and dominate," he said.
