Campaign, advertisement signs not permitted on public highway rights of way
MnDOT said violators face misdemeanor charges and possible civil penalties if illegal signs contribute to crashes, injuries or vehicle damage.
MnDOT reminded the public Wednesday in DULUTH that campaign and advertisement signs are prohibited from being placed on any highway right-of-way.
