Metropolitan Police named Auguste-Marie Bile-aka Amoa, 25, and said a 22-year-old suspect remains in hospital under guard after the shooting.
On Monday evening, 25-year-old bus driver Auguste-Marie Bile-aka Amoa was shot dead outside The Landor pub on Willington Road in Clapham; Metropolitan Police named the victim following the fatal attack.
Local residents reported hearing four gunshots before discovering the victim, with staff from The Landor assisting him; pub employees stated the shooting was unrelated to the venue.
Shortly after the shooting, a 22-year-old man attended hospital with a gunshot wound and was arrested on suspicion of murder; he remains under police guard.
Detective Chief Inspector Claire Guiver, leading the investigation, urged witnesses to provide CCTV or dashcam footage, stating, "Our thoughts remain with Bile-aka."
A friend described Bile-aka as a "cool guy" and "hard-working," characterizing the death as "wrong place, wrong time," while bouquets and a candle were laid at the scene on Tuesday.
