Ontario city officials are urging residents to boil their water “vigorously” after a mechanical issue at the treatment plant.

ONTARIO – The City of Ontario reports a temporary failure in the city’s water pumping system has prompted officials to issue a “Boil Water Notice” early Sunday morning. A loss of water pressure was experienced in the early morning hours. Until testing can be done, city officials are asking residents to first boil water from the city’s water system before drinking or cooking with it.
