Bitget Moves Institutional Collateral To Sygnum's Off-Exchange Custody
Client collateral sits in segregated accounts at the Swiss bank and is mirrored back to the exchange for trading. Bitget is the fourth venue on Protect, after Binance, Deribit and Bybit.
Bitget joined Sygnum Protect, a Swiss banking platform in custody outside the exchange, so that its institutional clients negotiate cash and derivatives while their guarantees remain segregated and off the exchange balance.
Bitget, one of the world's largest stock exchanges, has 125 million users in more than 150 countries.
