Acer Expands Thin-and-Light Portfolio with 799 G Swift Blade 14 Laptop
The thin-and-light laptops use Intel Core Series 3 chips and offer up to 3K OLED displays for mobile productivity.
On Wednesday, September 2, 2026, Acer announced the Swift Blade 14 and Swift Air 16 at IFA 2026; both laptops feature Intel Core Series 3 processors for mobile productivity.
Weighing just 799g and measuring 12.9mm thick, the Swift Blade 14 achieves its feather-light design through a hybrid magnesium-aluminum alloy keyboard deck paired with carbon fiber top and bottom covers.
Featuring a 16-inch display, the Swift Air 16 weighs 1.5kg and measures 13.5mm thick; its 70Wh battery supports fast-charging to 50% in only 30 minutes via a 100W adapter.
Acer confirmed the Swift Air 16 will start selling in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa in December 2026, with a North America launch scheduled for early 2027.
Both models offer premium display options including 3K OLED panels with 100% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage; dual Thunderbolt 4 ports provide high-speed connectivity for modern workflows.
