Big Valley host to one of North America's largest model train layouts - The Stettler Independent

Calgary Free-mo model railroaders returned to the Big Valley Agriplex Aug. 13 to 16. According to organizers, the 2026 run featured 45 participants from all over western Canada and the northwestern United States. The roughly 530 feet of track featured 73 different highly detailed modules brought by the participants.
