Evacuations have been carried out in the sectors Caleta San Marcos, Caleta Río Seco, Compound Customs El Loa, Chanavaya, ZOFRI Barrio Industrial and Marinero Unknown in the municipality of Iquique, as a result of the activation of several ravines.
The rains triggered cracks and raised the risk of mass removals in Tarapacá. Senapred issued three SAE alerts and ordered preventive evacuations, while a landslide caused the fall of vehicles in the vicinity of Zofri.
