- Developed by teams in Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune, and Chennai, the assistant interprets phrases like "dhai baje" and "ek paav" with speech recognition tuned for Indian home acoustics.
- Amazon integrated Alexa+ with Swiggy, Zomato's District, and MakeMyTrip for reservations and travel, while connecting to Amazon Now to let users add items to shopping carts through voice.
- Available now under Early Access, the service is free on eligible Echo and Fire TV devices for all Indian users, with Prime members retaining free access after the trial ends.
