LOGAN, Utah – Utah State volleyball received career-best performances from numerous players in a spirited effort against Pac-12 preseason favorite and current league leader Colorado State but ultimately fell in five sets on Saturday afternoon at the Wayne Estes Center. USU finished with 94 digs as a team, the second-most by the program during the 25-point, rally-scoring era (since 2008), trailing only USU's mark of 98 digs against Idaho in 2012.
