After Gomti floods Lucknow, CM Yogi Adityanath orders embankment plan from Faizullaganj to Naimish
Chief minister Yogi Adityanath has ordered officials to develop a plan for a new embankment along the Gomti River. After recent inspections, he emphasized the need for flood protection in multiple areas. The Lucknow Development Authority will continue its existing Green Corridor project to improve flood defenses. Proposed solutions include additional pumping stations to help drain water from prone localities.
The rising water level of the Gomti River has worsened the situation in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath visited the village of Harda in the Bakshi Ka Talab tehsil to inquire about the flood victims and distribute relief supplies. The government has assured the victims of all possible assistance.
